Department of Mathematics is established in the year 1971, when Shiv Chhatrapati
Shikshan Sanstha started the Science Faculty in Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Latur.
In the beginning only two classes i.e. P.U.C. and B.Sc. I year were started with
one teacher. In the natural growth B.Sc. II and III year classes were started in
the year 1973 and 1974 respectively.
Department has two computers with Mapple-12 Mathematical software, it is useful
to meet the needs of the students in the Globalization. The department has formed
a association of the students in the acedimic year 2009-10, through this association
conducting various activities like: Stuent Seminars, Competative tests, quiz contests
etc. for the improvement of their logical and reasoning ability.

Objectives: |

pure mathematics.
