The library has 1,49,747 books in its possession with Reading Room, Night Library,
Internet and Multimedia Facility . The computerization of the library is completed. The Library is using readymade software "SOUL" (Software for university library)
developed by INFLIBNET centre, Ahmedabad.
OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) of SOUL software is a powerful search engine
for the retrieval of any bibliographic database on-line. The search options include
Title, Author, Subject, Class number, ISBN, Publisher, Accession Number, Series/Note/Volume,
free text search and Boolean Search, for the retrieval of books. |
