Department of English
The Department of English is the backbone of the college, one of the biggest and important departments. It was established in the year 1970 along with the establishment of the college. We have English as an Optional Subject, English as a Compulsory Language, English as a vocational subject known as Functional English. In advance Language Lab has been set up.

Faculty Profile
Smt. G. Shailaja Somdev
She has completed post graduate certificate course in the teaching of English from ‘CIEFL’ Hydrabad. She also works as N.S.S. programme officer 13 years. She is now head of the Department of English. She has completed one orientation and three refresher courses.
Smt. A. A. Jadhav
She is working as a Lecturer since 1997. She is working as an Incharge of Language Lab, member of Hostel Committee. One orientation course has been complied by her.
Shri. S.D. Bhandare
He is working as a Lecturer since July 2006. He is working as an English section editor of the Shabdagandh, the annual magazine of the college. He is also the member of Pre-Annual Examination committee of the college.
