Aim
The National Service Scheme aims at "Development of the personality of Students through community Service".
Activities
After a student is enrolled and alloted a unit. he/she will have to attend camps and get involves in other activities as directed by the N.S.S. officers. Some of the activities of the N.S.S. are:
- Organisation of Special Youth Camp for Cleanliness.
- AIDS awareness and child trafficking workshop.
- Rallies for relief fund.
- Tree plantation "wherever there is a house, there should be trees" campign.
- Pulse Polio Campaign.
- Leadership "Development Workshop".
- Organization of Disaster Management Camp.
- Participation in University, State and National Level Camps and Workshops.
- Youth - Awarness Week.
- Blood donation Camps.
- Celebration of various days and Jayantees.
- Participationin Republic Day Parade.
- Instilling civic sense in the community and among the local people.
- Schemes for Rural Reconstruction.
