Aim:

The National Service Scheme aims at "Development of the personality of Students through community Service".

Activities:

After a student is enrolled and alloted a unit. he/she will have to attend camps and get involves in other activities as directed by the N.S.S. officers. Some of the activities of the N.S.S. are:

Organisation of Special Youth Camp for Cleanliness.
AIDS awareness and child trafficking workshop.
Rallies for relief fund.
Tree plantation "wherever there is a house, there should be trees" campign.
Pulse Polio Campaign.
Leadership "Development Workshop".
Organization of Disaster Management Camp.
Participation in University, State and National Level Camps and Workshops.
Youth - Awarness Week.

Celebration of various days and Jayantees.
Participationin Republic Day Parade.
Instilling civic sense in the community and among the local people.
