The Department of English is the backbone of the college, one of the biggest and important departments. It was established in the year 1970 along with the establishment of the college. We have English as an Optional Subject, English as a Compulsory Language, English as a second language officially known as  Additional English and English as a vocational subject known as  Functional English.
