Shri V.Y.Deshmukh  :

           Working as head of the Russian Department and also In-charge of Audio-Visual unit. Worked as the first coordinator of UGC’s Functional English Course (1995-2000). Worked as Head of the Department of computer science and IT. completed a course in still photography, video shooting and T.V., V.C.R.and Tape-recorder maintenance. Attended five refresher courses in Russian.  in 1978  attended an International seminar in Russia. in Russia for one academic year in 1985 for advanced training course in practical Russian. Attended Functional English Training programme under UGC-CIEFL project. Attended nine seminars / workshops, including two workshops related with NAAC. Member of “All India Association of Teachers of Russian”.

           Chairman of BOS in Russian, Member of academic council and Faculty Member of Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. Recipient of “Shahu Bhushan” award given by the Management of this college to teachers for their overall contribution, devotion to duty and innovative spirit. Chairman of BOS in Foreign Languages and Member of Academic Council of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Pune.  Acted as Subject Expert in Selection Committee constituted by S.R.T.M.Univeristy, Nanded and Dr. B.A.M.University, Aurangabad. Coordinator, Health &Yoga cource of S.R.T.M.University.

           Tried  to start the Departments of German and French and met teachers of these languages  in Aurangabad, Pune, Hyderabad and Delhi and persuaded them to come to Latur. In case of German, we could get teachers in succession, but in case of French, we could get the teacher for just one academic year. Even though German and French are no longer taught in our college, we hope to start these languages, for we believe that learning of foreign languages broadens the mind.  Working as NAAC Steering Committee Coordinator
