Library Hours :

     Main Library

              Monday to Friday                                    10.00 am to 5.40 pm

             Saturday                                                  10.00 am to 2.00 pm

  Reading Room And Night Library

            Monday to Saturday                                   8.30 am to 11.30 pm

          Special arrangements are made to keep the Reading Rooms open from 8.30 am to

          11.30 pm     on Sunday and Holidays.

 

   Computerisation :

      The computerisation of the library is under process .The Library is using readymade   software"SOUL" (Software for university library) developed by INFLIBNET centre, Ahmedabad.    

       The work of Retrospective conversion is going on.

       The multilingual ISM software is being used for the Devnagari Books.Till now retrospective conversion of 64147books of senior and 27440 Books of Junior college is completed.We are trying our best to fully automate our Library.

    OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) of soul software is a powerful search engine for the retrieval of any cataloguing information from `bibliographic database on-line.The search options includes Title,Author,Subject,Class number, ISBN,Publisher,Accession Number, Series/Note/volume, free text search of Boolean Search, for the retrieval of books.

  Reprographic Service :

       There are two xerox machines in the library which are used for making photo copies of  research material. This facility is also available for copying question papers, certificates etc. on reasonable rates.

 

  Internet Facility :

 

       This facility is avaliable to students, and teachers. Colour printer is also available for taking print outs.

 

 Multimedia Facility :

          This facility is also available. There are gramophone records, Audio-Video Cassettes, Educational slides, Educational Films, Floppies and CDs in the Library.
