Music Department was established in the year 1992. In the year 2004-2005, Music is introduced as an optional subject for UnderGraduate Level. Students of this department participated in verious activities performed in the college as well as outside the campus.

- Worked as Examiner for the exams arranged by "Akhil Bhartiay Gandharv Mahavidyalaya, Mumbai."
- To increase the awareness of music in the society various programes like, "Chaitra Pallavi" are arranged sence last 10 years.
- Participted, Worked on different committees for the organising "Tal Ninad", International level program, With the association of Art of Living solapur. which is noted in the Guinness book of World Records.
- Organized "Rajarshi Sangit Samaroha [Artist: Pt. Rajandra Kandalgaonkar, Principal Savaie Gandharawa Sangit Mahavidyalaya, Pune.]" at Rajarshi Shahu College, Latur on 4 Feb 2012.
