2. Measures taken to complete the syllabus of courses and programs. Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya (Autonomous), Latur prepares and adheres to the academic calendar. The academic Calendar
consists of detailed teaching plan and schedule for examination, curricular co curricular and extra curricular activities. The regular
teaching of the classes was assessed through timely feedback by the Principal, Vice Principal and HoDs and problems occurred
were discussed in the monthly meeting.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the classes of regular teaching were suspended from 16th March 2020. At that time the college
completed 75% of the curriculum through regular classroom teaching and ICT enabled teaching.
During Lockdown, the teachers were trained for online teaching through Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet app, etc. In this
regard college has procured the licensed Microsoft Teams application for online teaching. The teachers were also trained to make
use of learning management systems like Google Classroom, Edmodo, Kahoot, etc for effective online teaching.
Prior to Lockdown, the college successfully organized 02 two days workshops on e content development for effective teaching
learning.
As the physical activities were suspended during lockdown, the institution has completed the remaining 25% curriculum as per the
guidelines of UGC, Govt. of Maharashtra and the parent university.
Teachers conducted online lectures through Zoom and Google Meet App as per the revised academic calendar and rescheduled
timetable.
In order to strengthen the online teaching our faculties developed e content, recorded their teaching videos and edited these
videos through softwares like KineMaster, OBS Studio, Camtasia studio, etc. The study materials so prepared were uploaded on
You Tube channel of the college and Google Drive. The links of these study materials were shared among the students through
WhatsApp, telegram groups and Google Classroom. The PPTs, Notes, Links of Open access books, OERs were shared on the
learning management systems, Google Classroom and Edmodo. The students were evaluated online through MCQ test using
google form, Kahoot, Testmoz, etc. In order to have a “substantive contact” with students, teachers maintained communication
through WhatsApp and Telegram to discuss course material on a regular basis.
As per the Guidelines of UGC on ‘Examinations and Academic Calendar for the Universities in View of COVID-19 Pandemic and
Subsequent Lockdown (April 2020)’, Govt. of Maharashtra and parent University, the Online End Semester Examinations of UG
and PG final year programmes were conducted through ‘Customized Rajarshi Shahu College Online Learning App’. The results of
these examinations were declared on 31.10.2020.
Due to COVID 19 pandemic, the Semester End Examinations of UG I & II and PG I year (Summer 2020) were not conducted and
students were promoted as per the UGC and Govt. of Maharashtra Guidelines.
