As per section 4(1) (b) of RTI Act 2005, Government of India, Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Latur hereby declares that it adheres to all the rules and regulations of Govt. of Maharashtra and affiliating university, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded and University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Ours is an Autonomous College offering co-education, run by Shiv Chhatrapati Shikshan Sanstha, Latur, registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 of Govt. of Maharashtra. The affairs of the College are governed by the Governing Council of the Shiv Chhatrapati Shikshan Sanstha, Latur.

The College comes under ’Grant in Aid’ and ‘Self-Financing’ category. Therefore, financial transactions relating to Grant-in-aid are audited by the government agency and all other financial transactions are audited by external Statutory Auditor appointed by the Governing Council of the Shiv Chhatrapati Shikshan Sanstha, Latur. The College has different Statutory Bodies constituted under Autonomy namely Board of Studies, Academic Council, Board of Examinations, Finance Committee, and Governing Body for the functioning of affairs of the Autonomous College. The amendments from time to time made in the RTI Act 2005, Government of India, Section 4 (1) (b) are implemented by the institution. The said statutory declaration on RTI Act is made available on the institution website.

The applications and queries under the RTI Act along with a postal order/demand draft for Rs.10.00 drawn in favour of Principal, Rajarshi Shahu Mahavidyalaya, Latur, may be sent by post /submitted by hand to the Public Information Officer (PIO).
